Busy Time of Year!

We have been busy busy!! We have been getting settled in the new house and are loving it! It may be empty but it is so wonderful!
For Thanksgiving this year we celebrated with my family on Wednesday night and headed to the farm Thursday morning. We had 48 people at the farm for Thanksgiving lunch! It was so fun. We spent the rest of the weekend playing and enjoying the farm like we always do!
This weekend we celebrated Cookie's birthday on Thursday and Friday :) We also got our tree on Friday night. Whit thought everyone we picked up was perfect. Saturday was the first Saturday in a long time that we got to just be at home! We got some things done around the house. Then Saturday afternoon we had a birthday party for the boys! We went to Heavenly Donuts to celebrate. They had a lot of fun and I am thankful for Whit's friends that all came to decorate. There was a lot of sugar consumed and everyone enjoyed it!! We are still eating donuts!
Yesterday we headed to church and then to see Santa at the club with Cookie and Doc. The boys were precious. They kept peeking at Santa while we were in line and were so excited. When it was our turn they both got a little nervous but eventually both were in his lap smiling!! It was a Christmas miracle!!! Lunch was fun and yummy. Thank you Cookie and Doc!
We headed to Chuck E Cheese last night for another party and all had fun there too! It was a fun filled weekend and we are looking forward to more Christmas activities this week!

4

Whit is 4. How is that possible! We celebrated last weekend by a trip to Daves pizza, Demetris and moving into our new house :) He is having a party this coming weekend but we did celebrate his precious life!
At 4 years old Whit is sweet, loving, disobedient, rough, and kind all at the same time. He still has a sweet heart. I am thankful for this. He holds my hand on the way to school in the mornings when I ask. He always needs one more hug at kiss at drop off and at night. On the other hand he does not listen to me at all, shows lots of frustration and is all boy. We have lots of battles but I will admit most are due to my impatience. He plays rough and gets frustrated with Charlie. Thankfully Charlie is really tough :)
He is good at school. The only troubles we have are playing rough and rowdy with the other boys in the class. I really cannot complain about that though bc I want him to be a boy. He is very smart in my book but I don't really have anything to compare it to :) He asks good questions and never forgets things.
He loves musical instruments, watching Chuggington in the mornings, playing outside with daddy, trucks, any kind of "treats", Charlie, and being cozy. At the doctor last week he weighed 40 lbs and is 42 inches tall.
I cannot imagine my life with out my blue eyed baby. He is so precious and I am so thankful for him!
Favorite Place to be!

He was so excited about his new PlayMobil

Busy Busy

Well we moved out of the old house last weekend. It was a long exhausting process. We have stuff at the new house, mom and dads and in a POD. We may put it all back together again one day :)
We are thankful that we have my parents house to camp out in until the new house is ready. Hopefully only about a month. We may be in depression when we leave though bc the boys are loving being with Cookie and Doc all the time and I am enjoying my laundry and dinner done :)

Once we got moved our next whirlwind was this past weekend. Sumner and Drew got married in Seaside. Thankfully the boys got to stay with Deedee and Jimbo and my whole family headed down Thursday to Seaside.
We started Thursday night with a fun shrimp boil and ended late Saturday night under the (cold) sky in Ruskin Place. It was a beautiful wedding and it was a fun weekend!!

Beautiful bridesmaids luncheon.

Deedee and Jimbo took the boys trick or treating!

Saturday Deedee took them to Walmart for 50% off costumes

Wedding time! Love me a good tux ;)

Party!

Quick Catch Up!

I don't know where we have been or what we have been doing! I guess it has not been anything too much since all I have on my phone is a bunch of random pictures. Since my last post we have been enjoying football season, celebrating birthdays and just keeping busy. We have also started a major project. We are buying my grandmothers house! We sold our house that we bought last year very quickly and we are in the process of re-doing things at Mamaw and Dede's house. It will be great once we are through but for now it is a mess. There are lots of things to be done but for now we are doing the kitchen, redoing hardwoods and lots of paint! The bathrooms will come one day but this will be great for now! We move out of our house in two weeks and will have to move in with my parents for hopefully just a few weeks! Life is a little crazy but it is fun! Update in pictures....

Last few weeks

We have been busy the last few weeks! At beginning of August we headed up to Knoxville for Nate's cousins wedding. I am not going to lie.... the whole weekend was A LOT to say the least but the boys did great at the actual wedding and we had a good time. It was good to see everyone and spend some time with Grandmother. At this point in our lives hotels are not the best for us :)

The past couple of weeks we have just been beginning and ending a school year! Both of the boys had a great year. Whit was in Miss Aubreys class. Aubrey left in May and Ms Diana came in. Both teachers were wonderful! Charlie was in Mrs. Cindy's class. Cindy is our favorite :) Whit was in her class his first time at daycare so she is a special one to us. She and Charlie have a special special relationship and I(Charlie more than me) was devastated to leave her class last week. The boys had a couple of days off to play before we started back on Monday.
Whit is in the 3 yr old class with Ms. Judy. This year everything advances and they focus on a lot more curriculum than play. He is really enjoying his class! Charlie is in Toddler II with Mrs. Laura. Again, Whit had Laura and we love her! Charlie is still warming up to the idea of not walking to Mrs. Cindy's room everyday but we will get there!!!

Last day 2's and Infant II- Obviously Whit was not happy about a picture

Last weekend we had a good weekend. I was off Friday to play with the boys which is always a nice change of pace! Saturday all the sisters and mom headed to shop for wedding dresses and bridesmaids dresses!! We found it! We had a good time all together. Alex's mom had 4 boys so I know she thought we were all crazy after shopping with all of us and our opinions :)
JD, Nate, Dad and Jimbo all got to play golf while we shopped. Thankfully Deedee played with the boys for us! Then we had an engagement party for my cousin Sumner and Drew, who are getting married in Seaside in Nov.  So we all had a great night celebrating them. We cannot wait to go to the wedding in November!

Started with 7 granddaughters and we keep adding boys :)
