8 months!

Happy 8 months Charlie! I am not going to lie it has been a rough month. We are not sleeping at our house and this momma does not know how much more she can take! It has just been a fussy month. I will hand it to him, we now have 2 bottom teeth to show for these fits. He is just fussy a lot of the time and I am not too sure why or what to do. He wakes up every night between 9-10 usually and does not go back to sleep til around 12. I do not do well on  5 hrs of sleep so it is killing me! I have tried letting him cry and it lasts 2 hrs. I have tried going in every 10 min and just patting him. I have tried rocking him and when you put him back down he cries. The only thing that I can do really is get up and get on the couch to sleep with him. It is fine bc I am kinda sleeping but I am not ok with this. I just want him to go back to sleeping straight through the night like he was. What do I do?!
Moving on from that....
He is eating food at breakfast, lunch and dinner. He loves the fruits and does not like any of the "meat" foods. He is working on picking up puffs and enjoys those. I have tried bites of fruit but he cannot quite get it to his mouth yet. He still drinks a bottle 4 times a day but has cut back on the amount. He probably drinks about 25 oz a day.
He is trying to crawl still but has not figured it out. He wants to so bad but has not gotten there yet.
He has grown a lot and gotten more chunky this month. I feel like he is getting so big! He wears 6-9 mo clothes so I know he is not that big bc Whit was in 12 mo at this point.
He loves to be held and is not really a big fan of being by himself. He watches Whit all the time and Whit can make him laugh so hard. I love it!!
Even though I am not sleeping I still love this stinker more than anything. His grin is infectious and it's going to be tough to turn down!

We also started a new school year today! Whit is in Ms. Aubrey's class and Charlie is in Mrs. Cindy and Mrs. Katie's class. Whit did great going to a new class with new friends!

End of the school year!

I know it is strange that the end of our school year was yesterday and a new one begins Monday but that's how we roll in daycare!
Whit has had a great year. He was in Toddler II with Mrs. Laura. She was great for him bc she is calm, creative, understanding and fun! We went through so many changes this year. When we started this class he was not talking much and was much more of a toddler than the little boy he is now. We have battled through learning how to handle our emotions, a new baby brother and potty training all this year. He has become such a big boy over the past year and I am so thankful for his class. His class this year was Gideon, Blake, Mary Cabell, Anna Scott and Pollard. They really do everything with the other class too so there are lots of other friends in Mrs. Annette's room. We were thankful for her as well!!
Monday we are moving to the Two Year Old class(yes it doesn't make sense to me either that we are not in the Three Year Old). We got to meet his new teacher Ms Aubrey on Monday. I think it is going to be another good year. It will be different bc since we have been at school he has been in the same class with the same kids plus a couple new friends. But now we are adding a whole new age bracket to the mix and the ages will range over a year instead of 6 months. I think Whit is one of the older ones. In his new class there are 2 of his old friends but everyone else will be a new face! We are excited about making new friends.

Whit's class... he cried the whole party bc he thought I was leaving

First and last day of Toddler II

Charlie started in Infant I in March when I went back to work. He has been the baby of the whole school. Monday I will be sad he has been replaced! His teachers were Ms. Ginelle and Ms. Jada. It was a pretty good class. He has grown so much since March and I am quickly realizing he will be a toddler too soon!
Monday he will be in Mrs. Cindy and Mrs. Katie's class. I am thrilled! Cindy was Whit's teacher and Katie was the helper at the time. I love them so much and I am so excited Charlie is going to be in their hands for the next year!

Whats going on

We have just been hanging out! No major plans on the weekends and just living life right now. Charlie is getting to a good age bc he can sit and play now. He wants to crawl so bad but not there yet! Whit is just getting so big. He is such a good kid. We do get in trouble for not listening(which happens more often than I wish) but he is easy going, fun and sweet. I feel like he is older than he really is sometimes! He has done so great potty training. He has never had an accident at school and he is great about telling us he needs to go or just going by himself. We have to remind him at home sometimes bc he gets distracted but I am so proud of him!

Nate and I are just busy being mommy, daddy, husband, wife and employees. Nate is so busy at work and I am so proud of him for all he is doing at CTE. It is a busy season of life. I try to balance being mom and work. There are times when I wish I could stay home but other times I think there is no way I could do it. I am definitely trying to appreciate the little moments more than I used to. This is hard for me to do bc I know there is always cleaning, laundry and cooking to do. I will say that I am very very thankful for my life though. Most days it is no big deal to get up and go to work. I am just glad to have a nice home to come home to cook in and clean and a nice washer and dryer to do the laundry in. I am trying hard to not complain so much! I am just very thankful for my boys!

This weekend we visited with Mamaw and Dede bc they are not doing well. Whit was so sweet to talk to Mamaw. We went to Frannie's birthday party and had a lot of fun with friends! Yesterday we went to the Barons game with my office. Whit absolutely loved it. I think we will be going back before the season ends! He loved "those boys playing baseball" and playing with Sam! It was a fun afternoon. I was happy to see how great that stadium is. Hopefully it will help Birmingham!
