Wednesday we went to the Christmas Eve service at church, then headed to Cookie and Doc's for dinner with the Clinton family. It was getting late for the boys but before bedtime we did have to run outside bc we had a Rudolph sighting! Whit was so excited/nervous that he ran back inside and said we had to go to bed now! It is so much fun experiencing the magic of Christmas with the boys. I know people go back and forth on the whole Santa thing but it is so magical to them and to me that is what matters. We did Santa growing up and it did not affect my thoughts about God or my parents in ANY way.
Christmas morning started bright and early! The boys were up and ready to go so the rest of the family had to be as well. We enjoyed opening gifts and then our delicious breakfast. We stayed at Cookie and Doc's house all day and played with toys. It was a nice relaxing day.
We moved our dinner with the Brown family to the 26th which turned out to be great. We actually got a babysitter bc dinner at their house is not very kid friendly. It was nice though for Nate and I to enjoy family time without the boys.
Saturday the girls went to ATL to meet Allye! She is a precious addition to the Pardue family! The boys stayed home and played!
It was a wonderful time with family!
