Daddy Love

I know I have said it before on this blog but for Father's Day sake I feel like there has to be a post about Dad! Whit loves his daddy so much. I brings my heart such joy to see the two of them playing with each other. Whit melts his daddys heart. In the mornings Whit brings a smile to Nate's face quicker than i ever could ;) I am thankful for that bc it makes his sour morning moods go away. They will be two peas in a pod before too long. I will be the lone girl standing on the sidelines watching whatever sport it is that day. In some ways I cannot wait but in other ways I cherish the days where I am not too girly to play :) Oh i know boys always love their mommys and I an thankful for that. But there is something to say about watching the love of your life show your son what it means to be a boy. I am grateful for my boys daddy more than he will ever know. We love our days when daddy is home! thank you nate for being such a good father! Happy first fathers day!
(most of these pictures have appeared before but i like them in one place for my sake)

I do not want to leave out my dad! He is one of a kind. I mean how else can you survive 4 girls plus your wife. I appreciate everything he has done for me and continues to do. He is such an example to all and I am thankful that he is my dad. I love that Whit gets to spend time with Doc too! It is wonderful to see my dad with Whit and I cannot wait for the example he will be to Whit as well. Happy Fathers Day!!

Random

We have not have much going on here so I guess that is why there have been no blog posts this week. But just so I have at least one post this week I will just show these few pics from my phone. I apologize for the terrible quality although honestly not much worse than my normal camera. Last weekend we did not do anything. It was so nice to have not one thing on the calendar to do. The month of May was crazy so I was thankful for just a weekend at home. We played lots with daddy, swam in the front yard, went to breakfast together Saturday morning and just hung out the rest of the time.

In other news this week Whit has really been eager to crawl. He is up on all 4s and rocks back and forth. He gets so frustrated after a while bc he cannot go anywhere so for his sake I hope he figures it out soon!

Our new high chair

Whit is getting so big and feeding him was becoming more troublesome. I wanted a wooden high chair but I could not find one I liked. My dining room is also miniscule small so it had to be small. Well as luck would have it I found one at the Bargin Carousel for $10!! I wanted to paint it cream but now the wood is growing on me even though it shows its age. Whit does great sitting in it and I think its pretty cute too! He loves loves loves food and i know it will get great use at our house. After our 6 month appointment last week we are adding lots more food so it will be great! The boy would eat all day long if he was allowed. I am thankful for my healthy eater! Love his little rolls that all this food adds to his legs and belly :)

Pool trip

I am hoping that we will be spending a lot of time this summer at the pool. Wednesday was our first trip to the pool and it was great! Whit loves the water and loves watching everyone else. He was such a good boy and hopefully it will be a great summer!
Going to get a float for the pool! Big boy in the shopping cart!

Loves his float!
